It started with a missed sunset
In 2018, our founder Amelia spent three hours untangling a double-booked hotel while the Balinese sunset she'd flown across the world for slipped away. She teamed up with a small group of fellow backpackers and engineers with one goal: strip out the markups, the hidden fees, and the endless tabs.
Eight years later, Wander helps travelers explore more than 120 destinations across 40 countries. But the mission hasn't changed since that missed sunset.

Amelia and four friends launch from a shared apartment with a single Bali package.
